The Camp Kids series was inspired by my childhood summers in the Adirondacks. Although I never found a fairy stone, I imagined many underwater adventures while swimming the summers away with my camp friends and siblings.
Now I enjoy watching my children, Colin and Sophie, creating summertime adventures with their own friends and cousins. Even our dog, Dougal, has wiggled his way into the books.
