James Schlett is an award-winning journalist and former Gazette reporter. His book reveals the story of the 1858 Philosophers Camp attended by Ralph Waldo Emerson and other VIPs from the Boston area, including William Stillman who was born in Schenectady and attended Union College.

Rudy Nydegger will sign Suicide and Mental Health.

Prof. Nyegger of Union College presents this important volume which addresses the full range of issues relative to suicide and suggests ways to help those who struggle. This event is in recognition of National Suicide Prevention Week.
