Childrens Summer Program: Let’s Build a Castle!

Let’s Build a Castle! – Using unusual construction materials, children will build fun and imaginative castles and towers! Instructor: Pam Ober. Ages 4-8 (Max. 8).

“Have You Seen My Dragon?” Kickoff Party: Join us as we kick off our month-long city-wide scavenger hunt for our favorite dragon! Kids will enjoy an in-store scavenger hunt, play dragon-themed games, and make their own dragon to take home. All Ages.

Kids Art Contest 2013 Due Date

The 2013 Art Contest is to design a book jacket for your favorite book!
Artwork will be judged for originality, creativity, and interpretation
of the book’s theme.

Entries are due in the store before October 4.

Winners in each grade level (one through eight) will receive gift
certificates from The Open Door, and all entries will be displayed in
the store windows Nov. 9-16.
