Chad Orzel signs "A Brief History of Timekeeping"

Local author Chad Orzel, author of "How to Teach Quantum Physics to Your Dog," will be at The Open Door on Feb. 12 to sign copies of his new book, "A Brief History of Timekeeping: The Science of Marking Time, from Stonehenge to Atomic Clocks." From the movements of the spheres to the slipperiness of relativity, the story of science unfolds through the fascinating history of humanity’s efforts to keep time.
Orzel is a physicist, professor, and blogger and the author of four previous books. He is an associate professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Union College.
