Kyra Teis is a children’s book author and illustrator, a graphic novelist, and an avid sewer of costumes. She lives with her family in Niskayuna.
In "Klezmer!" a young child finds connection to the past and present in the sounds of Klezmer music during a visit to her grandparents in New York City. The visit becomes a jam session with an eclectic group of musicians and the child joins in on clarinet.
